He was born in Havza, Samsun in 1965. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Havza. In 1988, he graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Economics. He entered the business world in 1991. In 2001, he entered the flour industry with Usta Un A.Ş., where he is the Founding Partner and Chairman of the Board. In 2021, he established Merzifon Lidaş and started licensed warehousing activities. He is married and has 3 children. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Black Sea Flour Manufacturers Association and the Turkish Flour Industrialists Federation.
