He was born in 1963 in the Kızıltepe district of Mardin. He completed his primary education in Altıntoprak Village, where he was born and raised, and his middle and high school education in central Mardin. Engaged in farming and trade, Timurağaoğlu pioneered a significant transformation in agriculture by introducing the first modern drip irrigation system to the region. By closely following technological developments, he has implemented many innovations in agriculture and industry, contributing to employment and production in various investment areas. The companies he founded: 1990 – Timurağaoğlu A.Ş., 2007 – Altıntoprak Pamuk Ltd. Şti., 2007 – Agro Sel Tarım Ltd. Şti., 2013 – Kızıltepe Flour Ltd. Şti., 2017 – Tiyan Flour Ltd. Şti. (Renamed Timurağaoğlu Flour Ltd. Şti. in 2024 with a title change). In addition to his commercial achievements, he has also made significant contributions to the social and cultural development of Mardin. It plays an active role, especially in the establishment of social peace, the protection of social tranquility and "social mediation".
