Born in Ankara in 1973, he completed his primary, secondary, and high school education there. He completed one year of university education at California State University Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles, USA, and one year at San Diego State University in San Diego, USA. He then graduated from Bilkent University's Department of Economics. He has served as a Board Member and General Manager at Katmer Flour Inc. since 1997. He has served as a Council Member at the Ankara Chamber of Industry and as a Treasurer at the Anatolian Flour Industrialists' Association and the Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation since 2022. He is single and has one daughter.
