He was born in Adana in 1956. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Adana and completed his higher education at Konya Selçuk University Faculty of Education and became a teacher. He has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bağışlar Flour Industry since 2005. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Çukurova Flour Industrialists Association since 2016. Bağış, who served as a two-term Board Member of the Turkish Flour Industrialists Federation, continued his membership on the TFIF Board of Directors in the 2022-2025 term and served as the Vice Chairman of the TUSAF in the 2025-2028 term. He is married with two children.
