He was born in 1957 in the Patnos district of Ağrı. He had to leave his education in primary school and entered the workforce at the age of 16. He began his industrial career in 1991 with Beşler Flour. Today, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BEŞLER GROUP, one of Turkey's largest food manufacturers, and is also involved in numerous civil society organizations. A founding member of the Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation (TUSAF), which has been operating since 2004, he served as Vice Chairman of the TFIF Board of Directors in the 2025-2025 term. He was elected Chairman of the TFIF Board of Directors for the 2025-2028 term at the Ordinary General Assembly held on April 17, 2025. He is married with six children.
